This site is designed to provide you with up to the date information about our new 18th District State Representative.

This site includes a section where you can examine Representative Anderson's position on the important issues before the legislature and his activities as our State Representative in Lansing. 

   Representative Anderson has been well received by his colleagues since arriving in Lansing and has secured house committee assignments of critical importance.  Selected by Democratic House leadership to be the ranking member on the House Transportation Committee, Representative Anderson plays an important role in formation of transportation policy.  Representative Anderson has also been appointed to the House Financial and Insurance Services Committee.  After his re-election in 2002, Rep. Anderson was elected by his colleagues to the position of Democratic Caucus Chair and serves on the House Democratic Leadership Committee.

   As well as providing information about Representative Anderson's activities on our behalf, this site also provides a convenient way to learn about the legislature as well as communicating with him.  

   Representative Anderson appreciates your comments and suggestions and is dedicated to providing his constituents with the best representation possible in Lansing.   Regular email updates are available to constituents to keep them abreast of  legislative business.
